We have a recent (as of Aug 2010) version of R installed on the 64-bit linux machines (l43 and up) with the languageR package and everything it needs. Create an alias to save having to type the full path, or put /group/language/data/dennis.norris/packages/R-2.11.1/bin on your PATH
