Flash Card Recording
Flash Card recorders record audio directly to a Compact Flash card which can then be read directly into a desktop computer using either a cable or the flash card reader/writer. The basic recording function is very straight-forward, but naming of files, erasing and re-numbering tracks less so - consult manual or ask. Various formats and sampling rates are available.
Note: low-level, intermittent noise has occurred on some 22.05 kHz mono recordings. If you track down the source, please let us know! Meanwhile, best to transfer a sample to disk and inspect it before recording a long session; alternatively, use 44.1 kHz and down-sample with sound editor.
