If you are an external researcher interested in scanning at the CBU please contact : mri.admin@mrc-cbu.cam.ac.uk and we will be happy to take you through the approval process. (i.e. Imaging approval / safety traning / IT server access / booking scans). If you would like technical / Method support please contact Mart.Correia@mrc-cbu.cam.ac.uk and Marius.Mada@mrc-cbu.cam.ac.uk the senior radiographer The CBSU fMRI Facility began operations in December 2005 and is already providing high-field (3T) parallel imaging facilities and support to the cognitive neuroscience community, Cambridge-wide, via the first Siemens 3T Tim Trio in the UK, which is located on site. With its high speed data network and over 100 terabytes of data storage space to support functional neuroimaging, the MRC CBSU now has one of the most advanced systems for the acquisition and analysis of functional neuroimaging data sets in the world. We Currently have 3 highly experienced radiographers running the MRI unit as well as a Methods physicist and an imaging administrator.
