== Notes about project presentations ==
 * The talk should last no more than 10mins, and is typically followed by up to 10mins of questions. Please keep the background to a minimum (e.g, a literature review is NOT necessary; nor is a history of all your group's previous imaging experiments). Having briefly stated the nature of the question you are asking, you should concentrate the presentation on the ''experimental design'' you propose to answer this question. You should also list the hypotheses you will test (contrasts) and either the predictions, or the consequences of various possible outcomes. We would suggest only 5 slides in total.
 * The IIG is not supposed to be a 'first pass' on a pro
ject; projects should be worked through within the specific research group prior to an IIG presentation and advice should be taken from experienced imagers regarding study design etc.
 * Where a junior scientist
(eg. a student) is presenting, it is expected that one or more of the senior scientists on the project are present at the IIG.
 * If a non-CBU member is presenting a CBU study then it is essential that the CBU sponsor is present at the meeting.
 * People wishing to book IIG slots for project proposals should email Georgie Morrill [[MailTo(Georgie DOT Morrill AT SPAMFREE mrc-cbu DOT cam DOT ac DOT uk)]] with 1) a title, 2) authors, and 3) a suggested date, having inspected the IigSchedule. The requests to present should reach Georgie by '''5pm''' on the Thursday before (IIG meetings happen every Monday).
 * After your study has been presented at the IIG meeting, you will need to have it approved by the Imagers Management Committee who meet monthly on a wednesday. Please remember that you need to complete the form ([http://intranet.mrc-cbu.cam.ac.uk/mriadmin/mridocuments/ here]) and email it to Georgie by '''Noon''' on the Tuesday before the IMC at which you would like your project to be considered.

will be an expert in your field
